University College London Hospitals

University College London Hospitals (UCLH) is a Major London Teaching Hospital which is also now part of the University College London Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre, consisting of UCLH, University College London (UCL), Royal Free Hospital, Great Ormond Street for Sick Children and the Moorfields Eyen Hospital. Within UCLH the Critical care department occupies the whole of the 3rd floor of the tower and with 35 beds is one of the largest in the UK and has a national and international reputation for clinical and scientific excellence. Dr Geoff Bellingan is the Medical Director for UCLH and is a leading intensive care clinician in the UK, being on the research committee for the Intensive care society, the critical care committee for the Royal College of Physicians and is the UK representative on council for the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
